Our History

Established in 2002 the Fresh! Insurance Services Group has grown from little more than a few people working together in a small Worcestershire village to a company now employing dozens of staff and offering a service throughout the United Kingdom. The Company was setup by Lisa McPherson following 15 years experience in the insurance industry having worked for a family business and then a national London based firm.

Supporting Lisa in the establishment of Fresh! was Mike Wall a well known and respected character within the insurance industry. Both were later joined by Lisa’s brother Mark Powis who now holds the position of Operations Director.

Whilst Fresh! continues to grow from strength to strength it has established two very unique and strong brands with Ladybird Insurance for Women and First Insurance for Men. Supporting these brands Fresh! also provides commercial van insurance, home insurance and a range of support products and services.

Helping to take the company forward is a fabulous back office support team. Mike Wall comments; “One of the major factors contributing to our success has been our drive to keep as much skill base ‘in-house’ as possible. We now have a well trained, UK based call centre and fantastic back office support including our own art and web team.”

What makes Fresh! unique is its ability to work together as different skill bases. We have experts within insurance, IT, Web, Graphics and Business Marketing all working in their own areas but together for the common goal of taking Fresh! to higher levels everyday.
